Carlotta Garbatella was born right here, where life flows between laundry drying on the line and neighbours greeting each other at the windows, in a neighbourhood that smells of warm bread and genuine laughter.
We are Carla and Denisa, and Carlotta is our way of welcoming: an open kitchen where travellers and local people meet, those who arrive from afar and those who return.

Carlotta: where to get my hands dirty!
Myself and 15 friends had a wonderful morning at Carlotta's. It felt like being at home: we made fettuccine with sauce (now that I've learned how to make them, I'll be able to impress my guests on Sundays), Sicilian cannoli (a real delight), and strawberry sorbet (very delicate). All of this in a welcoming atmosphere with great music and excellent wine.
